India rewards every kind of traveller, from a family exploring the tea hills of Kerala to a group of friends heading for Goa's beaches or a couple driving up a winding ghat road for a quiet weekend. Luxara Holidays plans domestic tours around the way you like to travel: fully customised itineraries, private group tours, short weekend getaways and scenic road trips. Our team takes care of accommodation, transfers, sightseeing and activities, so all you have to do is pack and enjoy the journey.
No two travellers want the same holiday, so every itinerary we plan starts with you. Follow a classic Kerala circuit from Kochi to the tea hills of Munnar, the boat rides on Periyar Lake in Thekkady and the backwaters of Alappuzha, glide across Dal Lake in Srinagar, or pair Shillong and the waterfalls of Cherrapunji with a rhino safari in Kaziranga. You choose the destinations, hotels, pace and budget, and we arrange the stays, transfers and sightseeing that bring it all together.
Travelling as a group should be about shared moments, not endless coordination. Whether it is a family reunion, a trip with friends, a club outing or a team break, we plan private group tours with hotel rooms reserved for everyone, comfortable cars, tempo travellers or coaches with drivers, and activities the whole group can enjoy, from boating on Kodaikanal Lake and sunset evenings on the beaches of North Goa to wildlife safaris in Kaziranga. Our team handles every booking, so your group can simply relax and travel together.
Sometimes two or three days are all you need. South India's hill stations are made for short breaks: Munnar is a scenic drive from Kochi, Coorg and Wayanad are popular escapes from Bengaluru and Mysuru, and Ooty can be reached by road or aboard the Nilgiri Mountain Railway from Mettupalayam. For a true road trip, drive from Pollachi past Aliyar Dam and up the 40 hairpin bends to the tea estates of Valparai. We plan the route, arrange a comfortable car with driver and reserve your hotels and stops along the way.
Day-by-day plans built around your interests, travel dates, budget and pace, refined until they feel right.

In South India, popular drives include Kochi to Munnar and Thekkady, Bengaluru to Coorg or Wayanad, Coimbatore to Ooty, and Pollachi to Valparai via the Aliyar ghat road. In the Northeast, the journey from Guwahati to Shillong and on to Kaziranga makes a rewarding circuit.
Often, yes, subject to availability. Hotels in popular hill stations fill up quickly on long weekends, festivals and school holidays, so for those dates we recommend booking a few weeks ahead.
Seasons vary across India. South Indian hill stations can be enjoyed for most of the year, Goa is at its best from November to March, and the Himalayas are popular in spring and summer as well as for winter snow. Kaziranga closes during the monsoon, and its safari season runs from around October to April.
